  1. Its not a good board for a begineer at all, its really a board for good intermediates to advanced riders and you will probably find it a nightmare to ride. Some good boards that would suit you are Burton Clash, Forum Recon, K2 Select, Nitro Revolt, Gnu Carbon High Beam. Good luck with the riding.

  2. Pros.   Burton custom is a sick sick board. tons of pop, can be ridden everywhere.  Will last forever

Cons.   Its a $500 deck. If your just leaning your going to really ding it up .. Do you really want to drop 5 billz on something that your going to really punish?   Dont get me wrong I have owned my custom for 5 years and it still rides awesome but it looks like its been to h**l and back..

Let me throw this out for the haters,  YOU DONT NEED TO START OUT ON A BURTON, there are many other great companies out there.   IO PREFER BURTON, but you need to know that for 500 you can get some other sick decks, Id go with the lib tech travis rice magnatraction promodel.  The magnatraction will make it eaiser to learn on and its cheaper than the custom

  3. While this is a very nice board, there are others out there that are just as good or better at a lower price: especially as a beginner.   Many other brands have just as much or more on-hill rep.
