Is a C in IGCSE Economics a good grade?

Nothing, just what do you think? Can I do AS/A level Economics? What do you think?

  1. Hey, a C is a pass at IGCSE, so it is an ok grade, and your college or school should let you take it at AS/A level, as you did pass it.  They may look at the grade you got in Maths.


  2. depends what results you got in your other exams. its a pass, but just. not one that universities would be interested in. if you want to do well at AS/A level, you need to pick up your game.

    If its one of your higher grades, take it, work on it.

    If it is one of the middling grades, take it if you think you will enjoy, AND you think you can apply an extra 50% next year.

    If it is one of your low grades, it is up to you, its not the best results, but its a pass, and if you enjoy it, then do it.

    Ultimately, no one but yourself can answer for you. You have to choose whether you can handle the work, and whether you enjoy it enough to complete the course.
