  1. C is a pass, anything below is a fail

  2. Anything A* - G is a pass grade, however A*-C is known as a Good pass and is often referred to people as a pass. What do you need the grade for?

  3. Anything below a B is a fail...

  4. All grades apart from U are a Gcse pass but a passing grade which is the higher level grades then a D would be considered a fail. But don't be disheartend becasue i kno my God will help you through any trouble that you are going through, dont let anyone tell you none the wiser because you can always resit gcse english at a sixth form or college.

    God Bless you

  5. U is unclassified and D is classed as a fail. A, B, C are the pass grades.

  6. No, not at GCSE level. C or above is a pass.

  7. No it isn't a C is the least pass you can get. D unfortunately isn't.

  8. It depends whether you took higher or foundation

    higher = fail

    foundation = pass

    Although most schools consider C-A* a pass

    Some colleges consider D a pass

    Hope that helps

  9. no c is a passing grade

  10. It is not a fail. If you done foundation then yes D is a pass. If you done higher paper then D is a fail.

  11. HAHAHHAHA

  12. A  D is not counted as an acceptable grade for most colleges e.t.c You usually have to have an A* - C.

  13. Technically it is a pass grade, but employers, universities and colleges only count A*-C, probably because these are the grades that are equivalent to a pass at the old O Level.

  14. Yes but it's not a very good pass.  It's below average.

  15. Yes, of course it is. All grades except U are a pass, even G.

    Most don't consdier it a pass, becasue it is below average. The average grade is a C, which is what the majority will get.

    Also alot of employers aren't keen on grades less that C.

    Still its better than alot of people, so don't be disheartened by it, its a pass!

  16. A pass is anything from A-G,a U,meaning unclassified is a fail. You need C and above to do A levels, in the UK only.

  17. It isn't a fail, but a lot of colleges + places of employment prefer Cs and above.

  18. It may not be a literal fail (ie: a U) but it is still a fail because a C is a pass

  19. A D is a pass, but it is known that employers don't really like anything below a C - so its commonly known as a fail. A U is a fail.

  20. It's not a fail. A fail is a U.
