Is a Disney Cruise fun for teenagers?

I am 16 and my dad won a free Disney Cruise at work and I am going with my dad, and my 2 younger brothers, one is 14 and the other is 10 and I am planning to be hanging out with the my 14 year old brother. Are there a lot of things for teens to do on the ship or is it all Disney things that are mainly for little kids and is there things I could do with my 10 year old brother that would be fun for him and me. And this may seem random but is there a weight lifting room on the ship because I lift weights for football every day and I was just wondering if they had one.

There is soooo much to do!

Yes, they have a weight lifting room. They also have a swimming pool, water slide, and jacuzzi.

They have a private teen area both on the ship and at Castaway Cay. (The ship from Pirates of the Caribbean is parked there too) They have activities planned for teens too. You can rent bikes and snorkel equipment.



They have great shows each night. They also have a Pirate Party one night. You can dress up in your pirate attire and go to the top deck for a party. They even have fireworks on deck. Afterwards they have movies under the stars. They playes Pirates of the Caribbean 3.

They have first run Disney and Buena Vista movies in a movie theater. When we were on in Jan. we got to see Enchanted, National Treasure, Game Plan, Ratatouille and more! They will have the movies that are out at the movie theaters when you go and you don't have to pay for them!

They have basketball, ping pong, shuffleboard too.

They have movies playing in your room.

They have food 24-7.

Also you can go to www.disboards.com to find more info and chat with other teens who will be on your same ship.

If you go to www.disneycruiseline.com they show a lot of info. too. You can also request them to send you a DVD that has a section on it for teens.

yes! im 14. and it was ! if you meet a guy named warren from india tell him emily said hi! (he lives there) (in the teen place)

lol. there a place to play basketball and soccer and stuff. and the ports are fun. lol.

The Disney Cruise Line is very fun for all ages.

One night the have a pirate party and everyone puts on costumes and you have a firework show, very cool.

They have activities all day long on the ship.

The shows are just amazing, Disney shows obviously, excellent shows!!!

You will like it!

Don't worry if you're not into Disney "Stuff"  Disney does an excellent job of keeping teens entertained.  There is a teen hang out which my 16 year old daughter really enjoyed.

Also on Cast Away Cay, there is a teen beach with lots of activities.

The entertainment at night are disney shows but very enjoyable.

They do have a fitness center but I believe you have to be 18, check disney.com for ship details.

i was 14 when we went on ours and i had an absolute blast!  partly because i love disney.... haha.  i met so many new people from england and canada and of course the US.  go to the meet and greet thing on the first night to meet people because if you dont go on the first night then you wont know people for the rest of your cruise.

i barely spent any time with my family because i wanted to hang out with my new friends :D.  i still talk to most of them and i went on the cruise a year ago.... haha.

im pretty sure there is a gym on board....

idk, i was supposed to go on a daily basis (i swim compeditively) but i blew it off.

have a bunch of fun!!!

u should go to the umm teen room .. its fun trust me!11 hang out with new friends and everything(dont forget to get myspaces and stuff)  and u might not be able to go in the weight room without ur dad i forget..

just remember the teen rooms and the room ur 10 year old whould be in .. they are funn!!! trust me.
