  1. GED is an equivalent to a high school diploma.

I don't really agree with dropping out of highschool because you lose

the whole highschool experience but if you've thought about it and

its what you want then go for it.

The only thing that just getting a GED instead of going to a high school to get your diploma is if you wanted to get into a good college because colleges like all that extra curricular stuff you do in high school.

all that extra curricular in highschool can make a difference in if you

get in that college or not, of course good tests scores help as well lol

  2. it is not looked upon as highly by colleges

  3. No. GED = weaksauce. I hated school too--just pretend that all that manly pain makes you stronger in the end (or something like that). Community college is a dead end for most--you can bet less than one or two people in a graduating class are entrepreneurial enough to make something excellent out of a not-so-great CC degree.

For real though, it may feel like forever but it's only four years. You'll move on to something better afterwards.

  4. GED stands for Good Enough Diploma............and no.......high school diploma is higher than a GED..........but honestly it is better to at least have 1 of them.

  5. I had the exact same thoughts as you.  I just graduated a little over 3 months ago and let me say this much, I miss high school already.  You truly do have your best experiences in high school and whether you know it or not, your going to miss it.  You will miss seeing your friends, and even miss your teachers.  I know I hated some of my teachers but to be honest with you, I wish I could have them as teachers again.  You learn a lot in high school that will help you through life.  I would not suggest dropping out.

  6. A GED is less than a Diploma. It says that you have no commitment to completion. It sucks that you hate school because in this world, manual labor will get you nowhere. An American with no education is bound for poverty and despair. It's your life and I hope you find a way to enjoy education.

  7. the lazy mans way!  high school is fun
