  1. 6150 Is not going to run any of the newer games that are out.  I highly recommend the ATI Radeon HD 3870x2 for about $275.  There are better cards available and there are cheaper cards as well but I have found this card to be a great bang for your buck.

  2. Depending on your motherboard, I would go for an 8 Series or more.

Try going for the 8800 GT or GTS, and if money is no objective, get a 200 Series, like the GTX 280.

That's all SLi, however, for a single gpu card, go for a 7-Series, like the 7800.

  3. You should get a Geforce 7600 or a 7800 or an 8600 or an 8800.

You'll have to research these cards to see if your current mother board/CPU/RAM/power supply is capable to running them. You may even try a 6600 or a 6800.

By the way, as far as playing games is concerned, the Geforce cards that are built for playing games are the x600 and x800 versions, which means a Geforce 7100 isn't better for playing games than a Geforce 6800. The comparison from one series to the next only applies if you compare the lower or higher end of a series with the lower or higher end of a different series. Example: 6800, 7800, and 8800 cards can be compared against each other and 6400, 7400, and 8400 cards can be compared with each other. 7800 are better for playing games than 8400 cards even though the 8400 card is in a newer series. I hope that made sense.

Do some mother board/CPU/power supply/RAM research to see what you would need to run these cards.
