Is a Karmann Ghia a good car for a new driver?

It seems like a reliable car and has recieved many great reviews. Do you think insurance would be a pain?

Karmann Ghia is probably a reliable car, having basically VW mechanicals. Is it an older model? The old ones from 1960s are collectors items now, quite valuable. May not be suitable for your first car, if you will be afraid to put a few marks, scratches, dents in it. Depends on what year it is, and what its worth.
