I am looking for a used car.

I found a Kia Spectra but know nothing about them. Are they good cars?

Would this be a good deal:

2004 Kia SpectraEX

59,000 miles

$7,495

  1. Not at all.  I've known 2 people who have had these cars, and they have fallen apart.

  2. My family owns that same car and model and love it. Right now it has over 90,000 miles on it and hasn't been in the shop once for a repair; only oil changes. It drives very nicely and is very compfortable. The deal you show is also great. If I were you I would go for it. Keep in mind that the person that responded before me may be reffering to the 2004 kia spectra. The one you are talking about is a 2004.5 which is the redisigned one. I know this because the 2004.5 is when the EX came out and you said you were looking at an EX. Some dealers still may reffer to it as a 2004 though.

  3. I have a 2005 Spectra and LOVE it - I think that $7495 is WAY too much for a Sepctra that is 4 years old.  If it is a private seller offer $5k

    From KBB -

    Excellent

      $6,785

    Good

      $6,250

    Fair

      $5,580

  4. do not buy a hyundai or kia

    you will regret it later

  5. Yes.

Kia was bad in the 90's and that earned them a bad reputation, but since 2003, they improved a lot and now they are great cars.

Less than $8,000 for a car that new with low mileage. That is a great deal.

  6. never never never never never never never...buy a kia. They are horrible, and to prove it, they are sold cheap. Kia cars are sold cheap, thus, which means they are horrible. Also, about 7500 for a used kia is NOT a good deal. good luck!

Also, Huyandai's are same as kia's. Also horrible.
