Is a Magic:The Gathering theme deck or starter deck better?

I'm gonna buy two starters or theme decks and a shadowmoor expasion pack the starter is tenth edition and 4 cents cheaper but the theme is tenth also and lets u pick what color u want which is a better deal?

usually the theme decks because the starter decks are only to get extra cards and extra mana.

theme is based on whatever color or colors you want so if youve been playing a while pick the theme that way you wont get cards you wont ever use.

Theme decks are pre-made decks where as the starter packs are usually just loose cards. I personally prefer to buy theme decks and then make adjustments to them to personalize them to my play style.

Just depends on what theme it is. I usually go with the theme if i like it. And i like the free range of color pick too. So yea, I'd pick a theme deck.
