yes as long as you dont make a miss shot by hitting the ball into the table

Masses shot are generally allow but most establishment proprietor would not allow it due to worrying the felt might get rip due to miscue or whatever reason might be. During league matches it is best before doing that shot to ask it is allow or not. Im sure if a mishap is to happen, you not wanting to pay the cost of reclothing the table :)

ACCORDING TO A.P.A. RULES , IT IS ALLOWED IF PERMITTED BY THE BAR . LOCAL  / HOUSE RULES .
