Is a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering worth the time and money put in to it to get the degree. ?

  1. Are you asking this with or without a Degree in AeroEng?


  2. With the exception of "Black Smithing" any Masters degree is worthwhile if feasible both economically and IQ wise !

  3. Honestly, the job market for Aerospace Engineers is not too good.  The field is too specialized and if you get laid off, it's hard to find a comparable  position.

    Instead of getting a Masters in Aero, I would recommend getting a B.S. in Mechanical first, then adding a B.S. in Aerospace (~2 additional years).  That way, you have your degree in Mechanical to fall back on.
