  1. A learner's permit is only good when a  licensed driver is in the car with you..  Any state driver's license allows you to drive in or thru any other state.  You get the license in the state where you are a permanent resident.

I believe that as long as you are with a licensed driver, you can drive in any state with a learner's permit.

  2. I think if you can drive with your license in any state then you can learn in any state as long as you hold a valid permit.  Just be sure to follow the laws of the state you are driving in.

FYI Ny law allows you to drive in other states with your permit... It is up to the state you are in if you may drive in it.... Here is a list of what each state has decided if a permit is from another state....

  3. no if it was it would be a united states drivers permit you can only drive (learn) in the state on the permit....

then when you have a drivers licens you can drive in all the states........

  4. ABSOLUTLELY NOT! Come on now, everyone knows New Yorkers can't drive worth Shiiiiiiitaki.
