  1. Hey,

A Postgraduate Program in the UK is equivalent to Graduate School in the US. A MSc in the UK is a Master's of Science, which again is a MS, a Master's of Science in the US.

The value of obtaining a degree in the UK does carry weight in the US when applying for a job or career. The reasoning for this is that the US Higher Education System has governmental relations with the UK Higher Education System, as FAFSA (US Financial Aid) and Federal Loans are applicable in the UK. The UK school codes that represents certain universities are accepted by the US. Once you graduate with your MSc in Pharmacology, you simply add your new education on your resume or CV and apply for a job.

Many employers in the US will look at it and question you during an interview, which is easily explainable in a positive light.

    Hope this helps!! Take Care!
