I recently set up my first saltwater tank about 2 months ago, and went out about a week ago to buy this starfish and when i got home I noticed it only has 4 legs. Theres definitly not a leg that broke off or anything like that. Its a perfect 4 legged starfish. Is this rare, because I went back to the same fish store I bought it at to see if the others were like that, but all had 5??? I was going to take it back, but after coming up with its name "X-ta-sea" I thought i'd keep the little guy. Hes a neat 4 legged star! Was just wondering, anyone else have one of these? I googled for a pic of one, and couldnt find any?????
