Is a SHURE SM85s microphone good for studio vocals?

I know the SHURE SM85s is known for delivering some of the best vocals (for the price) at live performaces but will they perfrom well for studio vocals as well?

For example: if adding narraration to a film?

  1. you have to experiment, while nornally an instrument mic, they have been used to record great vocal trax.
