Is a Sailfish mast identical to a Sunfish mast?

I have a circa 1970 Sailfish--great fun, but I need a new mast. I'm not having much luck finding Sailfish parts online, but Sunfish parts seem to be plentiful. Can I use a Sunfish mast in the Sailfish?

I am not sure, but you could inquire of the dimensions for the sunfish mast and then measure your old sailfish mast and see if they are the same diameter. I learned to sail on a sailfish, many years ago!  I prefer the sunfish though, mainly because of the cockpit.  Good luck!
