Is a Sams club membership worth it's cost?

If somebody could tell me more about being a Sam's Club member. Do you feel like you get a better deal? Or are the savings about the same if you would go to Wal-Mart or even Aldi's or Costco? Thanks!

  1. I THINK SAMS IS MEMBERSHIP IS WORTH IT, BUYING IN BULK IS WORTH IT.

  2. Most people will tell you that they spend more and buy things they don't really use a lot just because of the price.  You have to know your prices.  Some things are just as cheap in the warehouse aisle of your local supermarket or Wal-Mart.  I wouldn't waste my money unless  you have a huge family to feed.

  3. walmart and sams are basically the same company

    or within

    but sams is more bulk

for my family of 6, it's definitley good.

the foods we buy lsat a month, as opposed to walmart, where they might last a week and a half.

and the electronics and furniture and other random things are generally cheaper than everywhere else.

we basically get everything from there.

  4. yes

  5. I find that I end up throwing a lot of stuff out.

I would go to wal-mart and then sams with a calculator and see how much savings you get with your most used items. I do save, but not much when you consider I do not own a large freezer and it is only me and my husband.
