There is a group pushing to bring HR-676 to the floor of the House. This is a proposition that would give us Single Payer Healthcare at very little cost and with no need for tax increase.

What probability is there that it will pass the house?

  1. Not only possible, but probable as well.  When it becomes reality, is anyone's guess.  I would NOT expect it in the near future.  People have not become educated well enough yet, and big business is not quite ready to push the legislators for it.  When they do, you will see it fast tracked and signed into law.

  2. Only if you want to bankrupt the country. Even the European countries that have universal health care are looking at dropping it.

  3. Allow me to summarize your source:

"Give us money so we can launch a massive ad campaign to persuade everyone to support a single payer health care system.  This system would be great because it gives you everything."

Health care is not a right!  The 2nd amendment states that we have a right to bear arms, but it does not say the government is required to provide us with one!
