Is a Sportster engine centered in the frame at the center cases parting bead- where the cases split?

I'm planning for a new frame for an evo Sportster motor and all I need to know is does the engine center of gravity line=t he parting bead for cases= line up w/ cntr. line of both wheels or is there a slight offset (regardless of the tire diameter)? # things: cntr. of axles= cntr. of frame= cntr.of motor (at the case parting bead/or slightly offset? Perhaps an inch one way or other?) I can't confirm an answer on the various sites.

there is a slight offset. look at the motor from the back of the bike and you will see it.
