Is a Tomato a fruit or a vegetable?!?!

  1. Both. Biologically it's a fruit, which is the ovary of a plant and includes the seeds, but it could also be called a vegetable, which can refer to any edible part of a plant.

  3. It is a fruit because it has seeds.Anything in the fruit and vegetable category has seeds it is a fruit. Also fruits most of the times grow on vines and trees, etc. So tomatoes, cucumbers, and pumpkins are a fruit. Along with everything else that has seeds.
