  1. they arent the same, although the v6 has less horsepower, the v8 is easier to drive in the slow because it gets more traction because both wheels are spinning in the rear, as for the v6, only the passenger side wheel gets power, so as long as that one tire is slipping, the rear has no control. having a manual v8 is the best in the snow because you can control your gears gears alot better which controls your speed and with two tires getting traction in the rear should help a great deal.

  2. It isw all in the way you drive. Not one car is better than another for snow in the way you are asking.

  3. Yes, a little, the v6 has narrower tires and less horsepower, but driving skill plays a big part..

  4. No they are the same, you have a light rear end, with wider than the average cars tires which make it bad

  5. Well they are both FWD and with summer tires, that is just asking for trouble. My parents were considering getting me a Mustang GT, but living on a mountain that gets snow in winter, chose Audi TT 3.2L coupe with AWD and all-season tires instead. Even though it's not for icy roads and heavy snow as a 4WD is, it still gets me home safe if I'm heading home at 11pm and there is an inch of snow on ground. I'd suggest another car for winter time. Sorry! :)

  6. Put 4 Blizzaks on either one of them and they won't be too bad.  The stock tires are lousy in the snow, especially on the GT.  Throw a couple bags of sand in the trunk to add some weight and to use if you get mired down.

  7. no not relly, sry. lol mustangs r bad in the winter
