Is a Zune a good gift?

My boyfriend wants one and i want to buy him one for his plane ride home from basic training. I want to know if they are good and if you can upload music and videos on them without buying them?

You can upload the videos without buying them but you do need a converter to convert them for Zune unless you buy them from the Marketplace.

I have one, been using it for 2 weeks no problems. Dropped it from my roof and it still worked. So its proven durable, though I wouldn't recommend dropping it. The software is some would say better then Itunes. Overall the device could be an ipod killer. You can put videos from youtube,dvd's on as well as any cd's you've bought.

YESSSSS! a zune is a good gift. I have an 80GB and it is really good and cheap for an 80GB. All zunes are good and have high quality.

yes zunes are amasing i love them way better then the ipod it cost 15 dollars a month for unlimated downloads to ur zune plus they hold alot of songs and videos
