Is a babies first tooth suppose to be rigid?

My 6 month olds first tooth has just broken the sking and it is rigid? Is this normal or did i not get enough nutrients while i was pregnant?

  2. Do you mean ridged?  Yes they come through that way.  They eventually file down as the child uses them for eating.  Rigid means firm, stiff or unflexible.  If this is what you mean, then of course they are suppose to be rigid.  They are teeth.

  3. My six month old just cut two teeth and they are both that way.  I'm sure it's not anything you did or didn't do.  It's normal.
