  1. No, Lincolns was fake.

    J/K

  2. Yes, but politicians tend to avoid the beard these days because of the thinking that people with beards cannot be trusted as they have something to hide.

This is why Hills doesn't wear one...

(Please accept this in the light spirit with which it was intended, especially considering it was Answer 5000 for me.)

  3. ummm why wouldn't it be allowed?

  4. He has the power of the military on his side. Who's going to stop him?

  5. if your tiny brain was able to concoct a political question then you should have at least known of a few famous presidents that had beards while in office.

hint: abe lincoln and ulysses grant.

  6. Well, seeing as they have a decent job where their boss isn't riding their asses all day, yes they can have a beard.  Shaving is a chore reserved, for the lower rungs of the service industry.  It is the thing that lets lower level and middle managers feel like they're in charge of something.

  7. No beards are for hippies and bum's

President are supposed to be respectful

osama bin laden has a beard

  8. Of course, remember Abe Lincoln. I know things have changed since then he was actually known as a republican but the parties switched around so things have changed but I can't see why a person's looks matter. McCain gets marks on his cheeks & has to have the cut off all the time. We don't judge him for that, so if he wanted to grow a beard to cover them up that would be understandable. He has great health care though & gets them cut off right away.

  9. Yes, presidents Lincoln, Grant, Garfield, Hayes, and Ben Harrison all had one. Vice presidents Colfax, Stevenson, and Fairbanks did too.

  10. Excuse me but have you ever seen any photographs of Abe Lincoln?

It is acceptable but not on women.  Maybe a little lip facial hair only .

  11. "Allowed"?

You act as if they are in grammar school.

    Why wouldn't it be allowed?

But now I doubt that any president would - it shows a casual low-maintenance attitude that a president wouldn't want to be seen with.

One or two presidents in the past have had beards.

  12. Yes it is .

  13. Some of our past Presidents wore them.  (U.S.Grant comes to mind.)  No law against it, but it seems elected officials seem to favor the clean shaven look.  (Maybe Bill Richardson's beard hurt him?)

  14. Why would the people be concerned about their whiskers?   Who makes these rules?   Have you never seen a picture of Lincoln?

  15. No beards.  They have been illegal since Abraham Lincoln's day.
