  3. Australia has a the crested bellbird (Oreoica gutturalia) which is native and inhabits dry inland and sub-inland woodland and scrub.

    We also have the bell miner (Manorina melanophyrs) which are commonly referred to as bellbirds- they inhabit forests and woodlands on the eastern coast of australia. I believe the Bell miner is also native.
