  1. There is no such thing as a "blank Glock". There may be blank guns that are made to look like a Glock, but it is not a real Glock.

This is kind of like asking if a radio controlled toy Jeep is as reliable as a real Jeep; they don't do the same thing and are therefore not comparable.

However, there are blank-firing kits for some guns, like the military's M4 carbine, that allow them to cycle with blank ammunition for training purposes. They will probably not be as reliable as the same rifle would be without the kit, firing real ammunition.

Manually operated guns, like a revolver or a pump shotgun, will be neither more nor less reliable when firing blanks versus live ammunition, because unlike autoloaders, they don't rely upon the recoil or gas pressure of the firing cartridge to cycle the action.

  2. No.  First of all Glock doesn't manufacture blank guns.  Any semi-auto can shoot blanks loaded manually but it won't cycle them.

  3. I don't understand your question.

    What is a "blank gun"?

  4. No In fact in most states Blank guns are illegal. I have a concealed carry permit in my state. In this state it is forbidden to own a Blank Gun unless you are filming a movie and have a permit. Kind of strange but I guess it makes sense.
