  1. A block is not a hit.  It doesn't take away from your 3 hits, when you block the ball.

  2. nope! you can still do the normal 3 hits off a block.

  3. no

  4. I block doesn't count as a hit, nor does it count as one of YOUR hits meaning you can block it and then hit it again right after!

  5. a hit or a goal or a touchdown

  6. No of course...otherwise it would not be used!

  7. nope...u still have your 3 normal hits after a block or tip

  8. a block is not a hit.unless you are swinging Ur arms to hit the ball  to the other side of the net. a block is when u just bring Ur hand and arms above the net to prevent to ball to come on to Ur side if it passes u or hit u on the way to Ur side it is not a hit . Ur team can still hit it three times..

  9. A block is considered a block in the stats, and on the court.  One can block the ball, have it still end up on their side of the court, and have 3 hits after the touch off the block.  A block is its own entity, if you will.  It doesn't count for anything other than a block.

  10. No, it doesn't count as a hit. That is why when person blocks it they yell tip to tell everyone that they touched it and they didn't hit it as a count of one of their 3 hits. The person who blocked the ball can hit the ball right after they block it even though it usually doesn't work like that.

  11. a block is not considered a hit because you can just bump it after. it's a weird thing, but it's not a hit.

  12. Nope. It is not.

  13. A block is considered a block, not a hit. The difference is whether you are swing your arms to make contact with the ball or not. If your swinging it's considered a hit, but if you just jump up to block the ball then you are allowed to hit it again and are still allowed 3 hits.

  14. A block contact is not counted as a team hit.  Consequently, after a block contact, a team is entitled to three hits to return the ball.

  15. No, it would not be a hit, because a hit you hit after being set to with special footing. A block is blocking the other team from getting the ball onto your side of the court.

  16. Nope

You can still have your 3 hits

  17. no, you can still touch the ball 3 times on your side.  Another crazy rule is that if you block, and lets say it is a soft block and goes straight up in the air, you can land and play the ball again so essentially you are touching it 2 different times.  However, if your first touch isn´t a block then it would be a fault.

  18. its not a hit but if you tip it and it goes out it is off on the team who tipped it.
