Is a boat with a cuddy realy worth it

Question

are 22' boats with cuddy's that can only sleep 2 people really worth it?

do you actually use theme and are they still good for fishing?

is it better to get a tracker or a lund fishing boat or should you get a center console boat for fishing.

yeah there good  if you have to take a dump  you get a mty 5 gallon bucket sit on it and do your thing then you tell me if its worth it  when your 10 miles off shore and your stomach is rumbling

If you can afford it, it is certainly worth it.  It adds a great comfort option.

A cuddy is a great place for restless kids or grumpy wives (or husbands) to go!

With a cuddy you can not ride in if moving as the bouncing will hurt who ever is in there> It's hot movement is unbearable> Of if you want to spend a night in comm water>waste of good fishing space> beside if you want a cuddy have a canvas 1 built as least you can sit up in it> with cousions>

I have a 23' walk around with Yamaha outboard on a sea drive bracket.

I have owned center consoles, bow riders with tri hull, and numerous other boats.   This is the best all around river / bay boat I have owned.  The cuddy cabin allows the wife to use the porta potty, the bunks are great for a quick nap when the fish are not biteing.  With the foreward hatch open and windows open it can still be warm, but out of the sun.  

In the cooler months the full canopy makes it nice and easy to fish early and stay late.  There is plenty of room in the cockpit for fishing.  

This boat has been used off shore as well on good days, can handle the bay on most any day that I want to go and any time on protected waters.    Aggreed it is not like a 35 - 50' cabin cruiser but I do not have any where near as much in it, and it is paid for.  - Besides I can always run the boss' boats if I want something bigger....

depends on how and what you are planning to fish for. if you have women or small children aboard, it is nice to have a portapotty in the cuddy. in case of rain it is handy for passengers.
