  1. What is your definition of "roomy"? Do you mean the size of the airplane or the amount of space for individual passengers?

If you mean the size of the airplane, then the 767 is much larger than an MD-88.

If you mean room for passengers, then the answer is "not really". Economy class seats are basically the same size regardless of whether it's a 767 or MD-88. You'll be fairly cramped on either aircraft. First class seats on the 767 may be larger than the MD-88 if the 767 is used for international flights.

  2. Yes! The 767 is a long haul aircraft, the MD88 is for short haul.

As usualy but, for size of seats etc, it depends more on the airline rather than the aircraft.

  3. It's a much bigger plane, mif that's what you mean by roomier.

But if you mean will you, personally, have more room (for your feet, knees, butt, should, whatever,) the answer is: Maybe. It depends on the airline and of course on whether you are in first class!

  4. MUCH! The md is a small jet with 2x3 seating for appx. 150 pax. The 767-300 is a widebody jet with seating in coach 2x3x2 for appx. 210 passengers. The md is used for flights no more then 5 hours, whereas the 767 can be used on 12 hour flights from Fiji to Los Angeles, Vancouver to London, and Chicago to Sao Paulo.

  5. Yes it is. Depending on the particular airline configuration the capacity of a 767-300 ranges from 225 to 260 passengers while a MD88 which is an upgraded version of the DC9 (after boeing acquired McDonald-Douglas) sits around 140 passengers depending on configuration

  6. yes it is a boeing 767 has to probibly go a long distance and a md  88 should only go to domestic places so the answer yes and by far
