  1. Jeffe is the most correct in answering.  Now it is not from your tub settling.  It is from poor construction at the factory.  The resin bond underneath the fiberglass is heating up and causing the bubble separating the fiberglass from the resin bond.  The resin is super hot and fixing it is not one of my favorite things to do since it is easy to get severely burned by the resin.  Your tub is new and insist on a new one.  It will not get better, only worse.  Not too mention you can expect more bubbles to appear in the life of the tub.  Good luck with the dealer in returning it since most hate doing it.  IF the dealer is a bad one, be sure to talk to your local authorities over the Fraud statues and that will spur them along faster then a "civil litigation" most of the time.

  2. What exactly do you mean by "bubble"?  A bubble in the middle of an otherwise flat area would indicate that the fiberglass has delaminated (the layers have seperated).  A dip or bow across an entire flat surface could be delamination - but more likely would indicate the tub is skewed or unevenly supported and the racking is causing that surface to warp.

  3.   NO

  4. NO!!

I'm afraid that you are going to have to insist that the company take care of the issue.

A lot of the time, they will tell you that it is normal and no big deal.

Sometimes that is true.  HOWEVER, a large portion of the time, it can lead to cracking, and by that time, it will be out of warranty.

  5. i would also have to say NO

  6. No.  And I agree NO.
