  1. i wouldn't risk anything with a swelling.  dented in is usually safe.  dented out could possibly mean botulism.

  2. Sounds like the can has been frozen. You'll have to pour the contents into a glass because it won't sit upright if it has a blown-out base.

  3. As long as the soda is still fizzy its fine. Then that means there is still carbon dioxide in the drink which means the seal hasnt been broken or torn.

Great question though, many people dont actually know the answers to questions that seem simple....so they could benefit from this.

    Thanks x

  4. It was probably dropped at some point. It's still safe to drink though.

Unlike canned vegetables and such, it's very easy to tell if there's even the tiniest hole in a can of soda. Due to the carbonation, cans and bottles of soda are under a great deal of pressure. If there's even the smallest hole, the air will come out so that the pressure of the gasses inside the can is equal to the pressure outside of it. This will cause the can to feel soft like it does after you open it.

If the can feels hard like any other unopened can, it's still safe to drink.

  5. As long as the can is not open, and has had no air into it, then it is safe to drink :)

  6. If the soda is still fizzy it should be safe to drink. That means the the seal has not been compromised.

  7. yeah i think it's fine.
