Is a cat still sick if it is skinny?

my cat got sick a few weeks ago and got really skinny REALLY

REALLY SKINNY. it's not sik now but it's still skinny.

what should i do?

Umm... give your cat food.

If he/she won't eat the food, try tuna.

My cats love that stuff. =]

And if your cat just won't eat, take it to the vet.

You need to make sure the cat is no longer sick.  And then purchase kitten milk and kitten wet food. These have the highest amounts of nutrients in them. You can also purchase vitamins and some weight building formula. All can be found at major pet stores petco, petsmart, etc. This will help the cat with his immune system and get back to a normal weight.

Also be aware of a disease called Fading kitten syndrome. It is fatal, and the cat will lose excess amounts of weight, wont eat and acts lethargic. There is no cure. Get the cat checked out.

It might have worms. I had a cat named Dora and she had worms when she was a kitten. She didn't have them anymore when she was a cat but she had them really bad when she was young so she just wasn't able to gain much weight

Just leave some wet and dry cat food down, your cat will eat as it pleases.
