I attended a 8 month course at a private school. We took an 100 question exam and were mailed certificates from the National Health Association in C.C.B.S. along with a 10 question test that we mail back with $89 to rescieve a seal. Now that I'm seeking employment I am getting no call backs with my resume.

  1. Absolutely, you can get a job as a coder. For sure

  2. I've never heard of C.C.B.S.. Most places I know of require CCS or RHIT certifications. RHIT requires an accredited associate's degree, and CCS generally requires years of experience.

Not all places require this though, it just depends on where you want to work. They probably just don't want to hire a beginner right now, even though you have schooling. Keep trying, and good luck!
