  1. First of all it must be set up as a charity( 501C). If it is part or all of your fee is deductible. The organization that has set up the outing should provide you as to what part is deductible. I find that is it a full outing with meals etc. a part of what you paid will be allowed as a deduction but not all of it. Contact them!!

  2. a portion is.  the portion above the golf fees themselves (i.e., the course is usual 100 for a round, the charity charges 550.  450 is deductable.)

  3. you need to ask. if it is not tax deductable , its not a legitamate charity.. this came from my accountant.

  4. yes of course

  5. With meals, prizes, drawings and the whole deal included in the price only that part which is going to the charity is deductible. Most everybody stretches the point for very few times will the deduction be questioned.

  6. ABSOLUTELY, ITS AN OUTING SET UP FOR A PARTICULAR ORGANIZATION THAT WILL BENEFIT FROM the greens fees, the cart rental, the balls, etc...its a great cause, and helps a lot of needy

    people...............if your invited...go, you'll have  a great time.

    good luck.
