  1. no. genetics and nutrition will determine your childs height as an adult.


  2. I might have to say yes here.

    My oldest son at birth was 23" and today at 26 yrs old he is 6'3"

    My youngest son was 23.6" at birth and today at 23 yrs old he is 6'4"

    But yes, heredity plays an important role also.

  3. nope not at all ! I have seen two cases that explain why not. first my uncle, he was pretty short when he was at school, but after he reached 25 years, he really became tall he's like 185 now !

    and the other case, my friend that was with me in high school , he was pretty short as well, actually we called him mini...but now he isnt even close to that, he became pretty much like us if not taller !

  4. I've never heard about any correlation about length at birth, but I was told by the pediatrician that you double their height at 2 years, and that's pretty close (within an inch or so) of how tall they will be.
