Is a cow able to jump?

Question

Or more specifically, at any time during their lifetimes, can a bull or cow jump with all their hooves off the ground at the same time?

Just a silly argument me and my brother had, but I'm still confused... O_o;

Yeah,..a cow can jump ....proof is that I have witnessed a cow which jumped a small wall... and entered the campus of our school and then went back...!

Yes bulls most certainly can jump.  The most dangerous bull is the Spanish Bull - this magnificent beast, best eaten in a pie, can jump and move with grace at considerable speed.  Not only that, it can turn in it's own length with the agility of a ballerina - beware the bull.

Yes, even this massive bull monster had all four feet in their air, even if briefly and managed to throw off his rider.

Yes I think they can, but they would have to lean on their front hooves, and sort of balance out the weight a little... Standing on all feet and then jump up in the air would be hard.. =)

As any animal can, they can jump over small obstacles (As the horse and the goat ect only not as well) otherwise, how would they (in the wild) get around there aria, or avoid predators!!!!

Jumping implies that you stand motionless and forcefully push yourself into the air. Leaping is done when you jump while moving forward or backward. Cows can't jump, but they can leap.

unfortunately yes they can jump.  My folks have a beef farm and I've seen many cows jump fences etc when they need to be rounded up!
