My friend has an enchantment that if he equips it to a creature it gives that creature +1, +1. Once he equips that enchantment to a creature he brings out another enchantment that says "all other enchantments have shroud". So does that make his creature with the +1,+1 enchantment indestructible or can you burn that creature directly?

  1. The Enchantment cannot be targeted by a spell or ability but the creature can still die, therefore causing the enchantment to go away.

  2. Dude, what the h**l are you talking about? Include a game name or something.

  3. Get out of the basement nerd.

  4. Shroud is an ability in MTG that a card to not be the target of a spell or ability.  Most of the time you would want this on lets say a creature.  That creature can't be the target of any spells or abilities that your opponent controls. So it's safe to say in most cases you can not burn a creature directly if it has shroud.   However, if the enchanted creature is let's say a 3/3 and your doing battle with a 5/5 creature.  The 3/3 creature will die and the enchantment will be lost.  Shroud is extremely useful for creatures that have beneficial abilities.

For instance, if you had a flying creature and your opponent did not, it would be beneficial for your creature to be protected from the opponents spells.  Enchant the creature with the shroud enchantment and he's safer.  I love this ability for Specters.
