Is a curse?

In the last few years.. I've lost vision..and I see less... I am afraid I might get glaucoma... my father wears glasess.. my mother and brother doesnt have too... How come I'm the only one with this curse??

  1. What do you mean you lost vision and see less?  Do you mean you just had to get contacts or glasses?

    More than half the population requires eye correction, it's not a big deal, and not a curse.  You sound like a huge drama queen, sorry!


  2. You are normal. Most people do have visual anomolies. There are few people with perfect vision.  If you have a fear of glaucoma you need an annual eye exam that is comprehensive so that you get it checked The only way to take care of this is to take care of yourself.

  3. What do you mean by "see less"? Near sightness, for instance, has some upsides (like the ability to see up close even after the age of 40). As for why you're the only one with this "curse", different people inherit different genes. I wouldn't worry about it if it's nearsightness. As for glaucoma - see you doctors every 6 months if you want to be really safe.

    Always try to look at the bright side :)
