  1. a motorized vehicle or any kind can be dangerous. a dirt bike is only as safe as the person driving it

however if givin' the choice i would say 4 wheels are always better than two

  2. no....

  3. I am going to restate DIRT GOD's answer. Would you rather have 500 pounds roll over you or 250 pounds slide away from you. Lets put it this way, I ride a dirt bike.

  4. HECK YES!!!

lets think about this, a 200 pound dirt bike on top of you or a 450 pound four wheeler?? i think I'll take the dirt bike. Though most people say that 4 wheelers are stabler i believe that dirt bikes are because you have more control.

  5. ROUGH, HARDCORE RIDING: If you are a really skilled 4 wheel rider, and you know what you are doing, you will crash alot less on a quad.

SOFT, TRAILS, PLEASURE: Safer wise a dirtbike is definately safer. Though you may fall off once or twice, it will not be as serious as a 4 wheeler tipping over. Though they do not tip over as much, when they do, it can get really ugly. Dirtbikes of course only have 2 wheels, but are much lighter, and even if it does fall on you if you do wreck, you have a much better chance than if your 4 wheeler tips and falls on you.

  6. Its WAY SAFER BECAUSE LOOK AT IT THIS WAY IF YOU FALL OFF OF A 4 WHEELER IT WILL ROLL OVER YOU AT LEAST A DIRT BIKE CAN JUST FALL OVER. TRUST ME IM A MOTOCROSSER AND I BROKE 2 BONES ON A QUAD AND NONE ON A DIRT BIKE

  7. It can be and ill give u some reasons:

    DirtBikes:

are alote lighter than quads, less likley to flip ontop of you in a chrash, little more easyier to control

Quads: dont need to balance with, little more stable

  8. It all depends on the driver, but there is alot more accidents with bikes than 4wheelers.

  9. A four-wheeler is safer.

  10. No. Common sense. 4 wheels, more stable.

  11. The best advice i can give you is.....Re-post your question (Cars & Transportation - Motorcycles), You will get more informative answers there.

  12. I think so. If you flip over the weight of the big 4wheeler would really hurt.

  13. It is much more safe.

  14. I own a dirt bike and would definately say they're way safer. They aren't as heavy, and when they lie down, they rarely flip onto you. A fourwheeler on the other hand likes to roll when you corner too fast, and can roll on top of you. They're heavier so they can do more damage. I've heard of more deaths on a fourwheeler than on dirtbikes. They're better in the mud or other weird terrain, but if you're looking to just go off-roading and stuff I'd stick with a dirtbike anyday.

  15. not really, because you are motre likely to lay a dirtbike down in a corner than you are to filp a 4 wheeler

  16. Safer, it's unlikely to turn over on top of you.

  17. well 4 wheelers are heavier so if it tips on you you'll be hurt but dirt bikes tend to be fasterso you may be in more danger but they are about the same safeness

  18. in my life i don't think a dirt bike is as safe as a 4 wheeler. it depends on the driver and skill level obviously but it is easier to get hurt with a dirt bike but you could get more severly hurt with a 4 wheeler. if you tip a 4 wheeler and dont get out of the way you will be seriously hurt which is about the only way to get hurt on a 4 wheeler but it is really easy to get out of the way when it is tipping over unless ur on a hill.   dirt bikes you could fall off, accidently wheelie and fall off, go over handle bars,  miss a turn, hit a rock going around a turn.  you are also  more likely to want to jump the motorcycle which can be dangerous if not gradual learning. i have had dirt bike, 4 wheeleres and right now i have a croch rocket so i kinda know a little about it

  19. they are kinda both not safe. many people die each year from them
