  1. yes, the apple is still live.

Even when it falls, it has a living seed that can asexually reproduce more apples. So the fallen apple is definitely alive and good to eat unless it stays on the ground for long and gets rotten. :P

  2. not once it falls from the tree....but up until it falls YES!!

  3. it is not alive

  4. i think its alive, even a fallen one.

  5. It has no heart beat, there for it's nonliving, but then again when a plant turns brown we say that the plant is "dead".  I don't know lol.  Take a guess?

  6. Apples never have life as far as i know

  7. Once the apple is no longer connected to the tree, it loses all sources of nutrients, etc, and can no longer grow or thrive. Therefore, in some sense, once the apple is off the tree, it is no longer "alive".

  8. According to what I've searched: "Yes, a fallen apple contains the nutrients and embyo (seeds) which

    are in a

dormant state of metabolism and have the ability to grow into a new

    plant."

  9. id say as soon as it falls frm the tree its dead as the stalk its growing on is like its life line for food n water,i'd say its alive on the tree

  10. Plants circulate fluid via the xylem and phloem, similar in a way to blood in animals.  An apple, once fallen from the tree, is no longer connected to these, and therefore to the roots, etc.  It is no longer alive.

  11. the tree it grows on is alive.... but not the apple....itz like hair growing off of your bodyy

  12. non living, it wont grow and develop anymore.
