  2. There are many reasons why your "FICO" score will not be the same from each agency. The term FICO is not to be confused with each credit reporting agency's own scoring system - in other words, TransUnion and Experian have their own unique formulas. But, you can see the actual "Fico" score equivalent from each of these bureaus by ordering your reports/scores through MyFico.com.

    The main reason that the scores will not be the same is that not all creditors report to all three agencies. Furthermore, not all creditors pull your report equally from each bureau. In other words, when you apply to finance a car, they may pull from TransUnion and Equifax, but not Experian. Therefore, an inquiry will not show on each report, thus causing the calculations to be different.

    Also, creditors report their data on different dates to each bureau. So while Equifax may update on one day, Experian may not receive/post the information until a week later.
