I agree with Vince M.  Don't let your mom help your biology homework.  ;-p

  3. I advise that you DO NOT let your mom help you with your biology homework.

    Seriously.

  4. Yes it is an animal. Simple as that. lol

  5. Well, animals are living, breathing creatures that has a heart...and organs, etc.

So yeah, fishes are animals =)

  6. I really tell you that don't let your mom help you with your assignment. Is your mom a student? No. Is your mom still studying at school? No. So do your own homework. Be honest seriously. A fish is definitely and obviously an animal. What does your mom think? That it is a chair? A boat? A mammal? An insect?

  7. Of course it is, does it look like a fungi or a bacterium to you?

And if it's not an animal, then what is it? A rock? A plant?

    Pls use your head.

  8. yes. a fish is considered a part of the kingdom animalia (animals) because it possesses all of the characteristics of animals, which are:

    -heterotrophic

    -multicellular

    -lack a cell wall

-motile at some point in their life

    -eukaryotic

In case you don't know some of those words, here are some definitions:

-heterotrophic means you consume other organisms to keep yourself alive instead of using an energy source (like the sun) to produce your own food.

-multicellular of course means being comprised of more than one cell.

-motile means they are able to move

-eukaryotic means they are composed of eukaryotes rather than prokaryotes. Eukaryotes are the type of cell that possesses a nucleus. They are also usually larger (with the exception of Epulopiscium Fisheloni) and more complex than prokaryotes, which lack nuclei.

  9. Ya.  Fish are animals.  They even have their own spot In the kingdom.
