  1. Id not know but, seem deep to considering this,

    rather than cheap..

  2. There is nothing wrong with "dutch Dating" as in each pays for themselves but it is very rare.  Do not go on a second date if you cannot pay for both.  If she offers than let her but be prepared to shell out the money as in theory men usually pay for all the dates unless the woman offers or ask him out.

I had paid for the first date with my man of 2 years and he flipped a lid because he has never had a woman offer.

My suggestion is don't go unless you can pay JUST IN CASE she expects it.

What do you mean how would the girl be considered cheap?  Cheap for a woman is giving it up on the first date. ;^)

  3. No, he's not being cheap, he's being equitable.

  4. I'm a guy and I find it cheap. Call me old fashioned but I feel that a guy should pay for everything within reason. Dinner, movie tickets, movie food, anything that has to do with the date should be payed for by the guy.

  5. Yes, that is being very cheap.

    Dates aren't cheap.

  6. That is cheap! A women can't be cheap in dating.

  7. No that's far to me.

  8. Money doesn't grow on trees who ever made the money decides what to spend it on.

  9. Nope dont think any of that is cheap - but it doesnt matter to much on the second date.

If she never does - then theres not point in going any firther - to one sided if only one does anything to be with the other and the other accepts it.

No offense fella - she'll pay her own way from the 1st if shes got any self respect, and therefore respect for you.

Other wise Im basically paying her to be there - how much self respect do I have? Why should she respect me any? I fail to find reasons. Sure its nice to be treated sometimes - but as part of getting to know someone? You kidding? I wouldnt know wether to be insulted or think its 'nice' sorta. Probably both.

Edit- if I want to pay someone to be there I'll get an escort

If I want to pay for s*x I'll get a prostitute.

why pay for company and to get to know someone? what 'service' am I getting for it?

The rest of these guys are having a laugh or dumb schmucks. I'll leave you to work out which.

  10. It doesn't make him cheap- just unreasonable.  If he wants a second date, he should ask.  If he hasn't made his expectations perfectly clear ("If you want a second date you have to ask ME out, and pay for it.") it's quite likely that she will be waiting for him to ask her out again, so she probably will not call.

If it is because your resources are limited, take her on a picnic, or cook her dinner, or discuss your financial situation, and wait for her to offer to pay for your second date.  If you do it tactfully, and she likes you, she WILL offer.

  11. If you don't spend every cent you make on the woman, you're cheap.

  12. No, he's sensible. People should let go of all this chivalry nonsense and take financial responsibility for their own food and entertainment.

  13. I think if you want a second date you ask for it.

It doesn't matter if you are male or female.. don't play games and wait around for the other person to make the first move.
