  1. the proposed to is the only one the gets the engagement ring, the proposer doesnt get one till then wedding

  2. Traditionally, no.

But my husband got a ring that he wore while he was engaged. He got jealous that I had a ring and he didn't. He thought it was stupid that men don't get to wear a ring. He wanted to show everyone that he was taken Right Then. So we got him a ring. He's such a cutie!

You can do whatever you want.

  3. Traditionally, a man does NOT wear an engagement ring. He generally only wears the wedding band given to him during the ceremony.

  4. no, a promise ring yes

  5. No.  He just gets a wedding band.  You can either pick out the wedding bands together or separately.  Most couples pick them out together to get matching or semi-matching sets.

You do however usually exchange gifts after the ceremony.  My husband's gifts were the following:

    1. I hired a bagpiper as a surprise gift.

    2. I also had a custom made wedding cake topper that were made to look like us.

    Good luck!

  6. You can have a double ring ceremony and give him a wedding ring in the actual wedding.  Men do not get or wear engagement rings.

  7. NO. Men do not get engagement rings. It is best to find matching wedding rings, or complimentary wedding rings. You will give him his ring during your wedding ceremony and he will give you a wedding ring at the ceremony. The exchanging of rings is a key part of the wedding.

  8. No he isn't.

  9. no. You just give them the actual right at the wedding

  10. Only if they are a g*y couple!

The man buys the engagement ring (with your diamond size preference-input), YOU both have to pick the wedding (bands) rings.
