  2. Yes, as long as you dont get bored way too easily and you have alot of creative ideas and toilet paper tubes :)

i bet you'll have a good connection with your hammy!

    good luck!

  3. Yes... I reccomend a teddy bear hamster

    NOT A DWARF!

  4. no get a gerbil they are awake all the time and hamsters are not they sleep all day and night.

get a gerbil please let know if you do and i will give you tips

      on gerbils

  5. Go buy one

  6. a hamster is perfect for you!!!

just make sure he/she doesn't get wet tail.

here is a website you can go to so you can learn more www.hamsterclub.com

  7. Yeah, it is...but I think they have very short life spans.  Are you prepared for that?

  8. Yes It is easy to take care of a hamster..

  9. yeah totally...i have a female hampster and she is very low maintence...she does love fruit like strawberries and watermelon and she loves cherrios(i spelled that wrong...i mean the cereal)....you have to let them run in the ball almost every day so they dont get fat and stuff....lol....My hampsters name is Cheeks and i got her this little t.v. hideout to sleep in and she absolutely loves it...she cuddles in it and sleeps all day not moving an inch when she is in it...also she loves ripped up paper towels to cuddle in and the cardboard rolls inside the paper towels...just dont give him/her bad sugar like in some cereals because it will kill it...you can give it Cherrios but not many other cereals....you will love a hampster if you like to play with little animals and they dont take much care but you have to love them and play with them....my hampster is so sweet that she doesnt even bite even when my big bro gets her out and plays with her and to tell you the truth i wouldnt mind if she did bite him...LOL....you will love hampsters if you decide to get one and you only have to clean their cage like once or twice a week so that is good if you have a packed schedule....if you go to google and type in Hampster Information, you can find out what types of food you can and cannot give a hampster...before i got Cheeks i researched info. about them for about a week just so i knew what i was getting into and it turns out that it is really easy to take care of her.....easier than a dog for sure...lol...now i have Cheeks and i just recently got a Beta fish from the same pet store and i still love both of them....im going to get another hampster(not for mating or anything like that) it will probably be another female but dont worry i am deeping them in separate cages....lol....good luck...you will love him?her...:)

  10. yes you sound like you would love to take care of a hamster. :)

  11. Yes. Just make sure if you get a wired cage that the wires aren't to far apart. A hamster would be wonderful, I have three rats but I'm sure hamsters are good too! Good luck with a hammy! BTW, teddy bear hamsters are your best shot, dwarf hamster are VERY tiny and can squeaze through then tiniest hole. If you do get a dwarf then you should probably have a glass tank cage.

  12. yeah...hamsters are good pets but with dwarf hamsters you have to be quick they run really fast...some hamsters can be very terittorial so you if you want more then one get ones that grew up together and if they dont like you sticking your hand in the cage you could use a knitted glove to pick them up and to change their food and water

  13. well ya but hamsters bite allot if they don't like you

  14. yes a hamster dont really take up to much of your time you are recomended to allow them to run in there ball for half hr per day or night. some liked to be held and fussed well most of them do. yeah i think it would be an ok pet 4 you hope this helps

  15. yes it is a very good pet for you

and hamsters dont even need to spend more then 3 hours out if the cage thats what my sister vet says
