Is a having a monkey as a pet in Arizona, California or New York legal?

Legal or not, you need to do more research. There was a heartbreaking story about monkeys as pets on Animal Planet?? a few months ago. They make lousy pets and all too often end up in rescue facilities. Please read this first.
