  1. sorry you don't have an air con

  2. temperatures fluctuate, and as you say a heatwave is part of your yearly cycle, but the fact that it is earlier whilst not being blamed on climate change in a grander scale shows that there can be small effects on a local scale that causes disruption.

In answering this you've made me come up with my first q. . . thanks

I'm sorry you are soo hot, I was last night its annoying!

  3. Check out this website for global warming effects.

    http://www.globalwarmingtruths.net

  4. You guys need to start importing ice from the US, or some other country up north. When they see money they will agree to anything, warming , cooling.

Heat is bad here too in SE Asia, pollution is worse. Iam just waiting to see which one takes the first toll. Anyway we do seem to have lots of people on earth who dont do anything constructive.

  5. Of course it is everything in balance if it is hot in Mexico It is cold somewhere else. Nature balances everything. it's pretty normal for april in ohio mid 60's durring the day and 40's at night

  6. Art Bell and Whitley Streiber produced a report (I had a cassette voice recording they personally made of it that I listened to a couple of years ago).

According to the report, which they claimed was based an scientific facts, they described a scenario in which relatively mild global warming results in changes to the Gulf Stream which alter the balance of warming and cooling all over the globe to the extent that the Northern Hemisphere would be plunged without warning (within a few hours) into a deep freeze that would occur so quickly that most wouldn't be able to drive fast enough to reach safety in southern areas.

They related that if this combination of effects were to occur during winter it would be unstoppable and would simply freeze most people in the Northern Hemisphere perhaps as far south as Washington or further (I don't remember all the details).  If similar effects occured during the summer months it would still happen but on a smaller scale.

I don't know how perfect their scientific info was, however when I was listening to the tapes there did seem to be logical sense to their arguments.

I'd be very interested in your "take" on it if you check it out.

  7. That "global cooling" the deniers were ranting about lasted literally one month.  In fact March 2008 was warmer than all but one month of 2007 - January, which was the hottest single month every recorded.

Basically, anyone who went ranting about how global warming had stopped and now the planet was cooling (almost all of the deniers) was completely ignorant of the difference between weather and climate, and set themselves up for a huge fall.

And now they've fallen.  They have been completely discredited by confusing weather with climate.  I hope they enjoyed that one month.
