Is a high school photo ID and my birthcirtificate enough for me to come back from mexico?

but if my birth certifecate says my first and last name and so does my high school ID then shouldnt that be enough evidence?? Im not goin deep into mexico just like 30 min. away from the border

no its not.  It has to be a government issued ID if you cross in a car, any other form of travel, you MUST have a passport.

ya still has to be a goverment issued ID, maybe if your a minor its a little different if your going like with a guardian. It doesn't really matter how far you go into mexico, as long as your driving back into the states you'll need both.

They changed the law at the beginning of January. Everyone must have a passport to go to mexico now. If I were you I'll get one soon. it takes 3-4 weeks for you to get one..heck maybe months...good luck.
