  1. The 800

I mean if ya dont wanna feel like ur sleepin with a karboard blankey xDD

    300 + is best :/

  2. higher thread count is more comfortable, but the prce is also higher

  3. per square inch there is more thread with 800 than the other count 100. You can test by the feel your body, which  will tell the distinct quailty.

  4. this really isnt common sense to you? price difference isnt enough of a hint?

  5. Most people agree that a higher thread count is more comfortable than a lower one. Over the past several years, people have created a demand for high thread count sheets, pillow cases, etc. At first people liked 400, then 600, and now the trend is 1,000 thread count! However, thread count is not the only thing we should think about when determining the quality, or lack of it, in bedding.

Some of the other things that we should think about include: yarn size, Fiber quality, finishing and then of course thread count and construction

Yarn size refers to the fineness of each yarn. Products with finer yarns are often light and breathable. Products with high thread count usually have fine yarn.

Fiber quality is another important factor. By far, 100% cotton is the most common fiber  that we use. Other popular fibers are silk and linen.

FInishing is also a vital sign. Products that are finished with quality are always mercerized and singed. singeing is when all the little fuzzies are burned off so that they don't come off in your bed later.

Mercerizing is when the product is prepared to be dyed. this also increases strength and the iridescence of a fabric.

And then thread count is simply the number of threads per square inch. So before you choose your sheets, think about all these factors, the choice is yours!

  6. The higher the thread count, the better the sheets.

I wouldn't buy anything below 600, but having 100 thread count doesn't bother some people, so it's whatever type of preference you have! 8-)
