Is a honeymoon Tahiti, "borabora" too expensive for my income? or is it ok?

I just graduated and I make 125K/yr (household for a couple)...I really like tahit especially the island bora bora..But i did research and notice that bora bora one of the most EXPENSIVE honeymoon vacation compared to other places..BuT I am in love with the island and I havent even been there yet!!! I know I might be just dreaming of this vacation, but do you think I make enough to go to this vacation or it's too expensive for my budget???? I know that I'm no celebrity but if I can afford it then I want the best honeymoon ever.

Try Fiji or Cook Islands - much better value for money.

Can recommend Turtle Island or Likuliku (they also have overwater bungalows) from personal experience.  

Have a look on trip advisor (people write honest reviews on hotels/resorts which is much better than reading hotel's own advertising material).

It is one of the pricier vacation spots but you will only have 1 honeymoon and on your income, you can afford it if you want to.

It sound o.k., try Fiji its a lot less.

You will have to save. Tahiti is VERY expensive, as is Bora Bora, the flight itself is pricey. The resorts are some of the most expensive you will find. You can do it though if you start saving, that is the key. You also may think of a less expensive wedding and more indulgent honeymoon.
